I thought you might enjoy these before and after maps highlighting our determined effort to increase the funding Metro receives through the federal New Starts program.
Working in a thoughtful, deliberate and cerebral manner with a united front of labor, business, environmental and community groups – we have been able to successfully advance our Board-approved Federal Legislative Program. In this effort, we have been fortunate to have the full support of our Los Angeles County Congressional Delegation – including exceptional support from our U.S. Senators – Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer. This teamwork has been – and will continue to be -essential to securing federal funding now and into the future for our agency.
