Workers, business leaders, homeless advocates and neighborhood leaders agree: Measure S is bad for LA, and you should vote NO on March 7th. Here’s why.
S eliminates jobs, which hurts our economy. It reduces housing supply, driving rents higher and it halts the creation of much-needed affordable housing. And S nullifies our plan to address LA’s homeless crisis.
Don’t just take my word for it. Listen to Daisy Villa of Casa Heiwa in Little Tokyo. “I am lucky to live here,” she said today. “It’s affordable housing right in the middle of the city. If Measure S passes it would become illegal to build something like this. That’s not okay.”
That’s not the LA I want.
Please vote No on S and get the word out to your friends and family. Too much is at stake, so let’s do all we can to stop it.
